Exclusive: Instant content transfer app Plick raises angel funding

New Age Networks Pvt Ltd, which runs instant content transfer app Plick (Plick.it) has secured an undisclosed amount in funding from angel investor Sanjay Mehta. Plick allows users to transfer images, web links and text from browsers to devices and vice versa.

The Mumbai-based startup will use the money raised to develop its offerings for multiple browsers and operating systems, besides upgrading its server for quicker response time, said Kapil Sanghavi, Plick’s founder.

The app is currently available for download on Google Chrome, Play Store and the App Store.

“Plick solves the basic problem of moving and managing content from multiple devices. It will be a pervasive utility on all mobiles going forward…,” Mehta, who has investments in about 40 startups, said.

Plick was founded in February 2015.
